We took our name from 2 different languages, Casa which means "House" in Italian/Spanish and the name Lovina itself is from the word “Love” and “Ina” which is Balinese for "mother". Therefore, Casa Lovina means " House of Love for the Motherland."
We founded the company in Toronto, Canada but our creative artisans are based in Bali, Java and Kalimantan, Indonesia.
They carefully craft our products from their homes and cooperative centers with techniques like BATIK, IKAT, GRANULATION and WEAVING that has been past through generations and facets of history and culture. The trinity of Indonesia's cultural craft.
Indonesia heritage, patterns and people remain at the heart of Casa Lovina. It made sense to give back by embracing our roots, tradition and lifestyle.
Our work with local artisans helps to provide a sustainable income each year, which helps to make a positive impact on the surrounding community and we are so honored to get to work alongside of them.
